Description
Protavio Ltd, a leading biotechnology company specializing in biomarker discovery services and development & manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostics, is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
In this role, you will be part of the Operations Department and you will be responsible for projects related to the design, development & manufacturing of laboratory reagents & the provision of laboratory testing services. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and managing project deliverables, timelines, and budgets. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including research & innovation, quality assurance, and administration, to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, resolving project issues, and communicating project updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion
- Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budgets
- Define, review & approve development phases in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare working instructions for activities related to production, quality control & testing services
- Prepare & review related procedures of the company’s Quality Management System
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors/partners for project execution
- Allocate tasks and supervise laboratory scientists for project implementation
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Track and report project status, including key metrics and deliverables, to stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and flow of information
- Identify and resolve project issues or conflicts
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, etc) or relevant fields and 5 years of work experience in a similar role or PhD degree and 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a biotechnology or related industry
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Experience in proteomics, biomarker discovery, assay development, or ISO13485 quality management system is a plus
